I’m at the Globe Inn in Chichester killing time before my train and noticed that my iPhone battery was getting low.
Ah ha! Here’s where I thought I could find a power point in the pub & charge it up before my train journey back to London.
Or so I thought.
£5 an hour to use a plug point??
What next? Charging me for the electricity used to pour my pint?
The wifi although free, is only free of you are an O2 client as its the “The Cloud”.
I’m not sure I entirely agree with this concept of charging for utility usage when I believe I’ve already paid for it through the purchase of alcohol on site, who’s price covers staff, rent, stock & utility charges in the money I hand over for having a beer…..
