New Years Preperations
Mum is giving the house it’s last clean of the year, Dad is preparing the Stovies for tonight. We’ll have a house full of friends & family for the Bells! Gotta love New Years traditions.

Stoke Newington by night in the snow
I’d popped out to post some mail, which gave me an excellent chance to test out my new ice grips on my boots (courtesy of Yaktrax ) which meant that I didn’t spend any time falling on my ass and managed to get back to the house relatively unscathed… just cold! It’s such a strange sight seeing Stoke Newington covered in snow… everything is oh so quiet!
Christmas presents wrapping
It’s taken an entire afternoon, lots of swearing at bits of Sellotape, wrapping paper and sparkly bow things but I’ve finally wrapped up the Christmas presents for the trek up North.
