It’s St Andrew’s Day and Tim has braved the cold wild snow to prove his manhood in hunting down the elusive haggis beastie which is known to travel South of the Border on the odd occasion.
And what a hunt it was. Searching high and low for the wee beastie in Stoke Newington and Winchester, nowhere to be found until we got word of a sighting in North London and tracked the wee beastie down in Angel….
Trapped and cornered in the refrigeration section of Waitrose it was duly captured and dragged homewards to be cooked in the traditional manner (no that doesn’t mean deep fried!).
I returned home, cold, wet (there’s a hole in my boot and my right foot is rather cold, wet and numb) and hungry after a day at work and in Parliament for the #Deact #deappg working group, which had left little time to eat during the day. I was ravenous.
Totally ravenous and was happily encouraged by the gorgeous smells coming from the kitchen on my return home.
The haggis beastie was caught, tamed and devoured.
All is now well with the world, minus one elusive Haggis Beastie.
